ABS is a 3D printing material that has many desirable properties for mechanical and engineering parts, like good heat resistance, toughness and strength. However, printing with this material requires some experience with FFF 3D printing process. If you are a beginner, we recommend using PLA material until you master the basic concepts of 3D printing.
Our premium ABS filament is made from ABS CYCOLAC MG94 resin, a grade made by the SABIC in North America. This grade of ABS has superior flow and impact resistance. It allows for high print speeds, and the parts printed with this material exhibit good mechanical and thermal properties. This material can be used to produce high-quality functional mechanical parts. It can be post-processed by sanding and acetone vapor surface smoothing.

The diameter of the filament is closely monitored during production to ensure a close tolerance. The actual diameter limits of each spool are recorded on a label attached on the spool.
The quantity of filament in this package is 600m. For this reason, the spool is slightly larger. Please check the spool size dimensions to see if it fits on your 3D printing setup.
To stick the print to the bed, use ABS specific adhesives or ABS juice or slurry;
